The Brief

Key Healthcare operates a number of specialist dementia care nursing homes for the elderly in Northern England, and we were tasked with improving their Google rankings and driving leads to their website.

They wanted to improve search engine rankings, enhance user interaction, and increase relevant traffic online. We recommended ongoing SEO as a way to achieve these objectives.


SEO Tactics

From the objectives determined from our strategy planning stage, we had an extensive list of tasks that we began to work through in the first months of the SEO campaign. We ensured that each page of the website was fully optimised and had relevant content that reflected the identified keywords required.

Key Healthcare have a Latest News section on their site. By using Google Analytics we were able to identify which news stories received the highest number of readers, and which stories had the highest engagement rate. Using this data, we created content suggestions for Key Healthcare, of stories and events that they could include on their site to increase interaction with site visitors.


There has been an 21.35% increase in organic search traffic to the website in March 2017 compared to March 2016.

Page views have increased by 14.44% compared to March 2016.

Organic search traffic is increasing, which we had highlighted as a key objective for the SEO campaign.
