Immersive Microsite Launched
Bespoke website design and development
Croft Corner are a forest school nursery in a leafy suburb of Sheffield. They required a new bespoke website that would appeal to prospective parents. This needed to act as an information base, where they could find out more about forest schools in general, as well as specific details about Croft Corner. It needed to detail the activities and facilities available, to enable them to make an informed choice about whether to apply for a place for their child.
The overall design of the website was to be warm, friendly and approachable, whilst reflecting a woody forest feel, as the majority of the day is spent outdoors amongst the trees. An easy to use CMS was required to enable admin to quickly update the website, to keep parents and carers up to date with activities and events at the nursery.
By using the brand colours throughout, the new site ensures brand continuity. Lots of relevant images were used, to demonstrate the type of nursery that Croft Corner is, effectively setting expectations for parents and carers.
Within the bespoke website there is a section which enables the user to download the latest documents from the nursery, such as meal plans, term calendars and holiday club booking forms. Staff can easily manage these documents through the content management system, and users of the website can find what they need quickly and easily, without having to email or telephone the nursery for help, which saves valuable time and resources.
The resulting website is bright and attractive, having been designed to complement the existing branding, and appeal to the target user. The refined user journey makes it easy for users to navigate around the website and find the information they require.
