We’re bringing back Design for Donation Day, our one-day-only creative event where business owners can access professional design support in return for a donation to two brilliant local causes: S6 Foodbank and Sheffield Children’s Hospital.
Need a logo? A standout social media graphic? A refreshed flyer or brand visual? Our talented designers are donating their time and skills to help you—while we raise funds to support families, children, and communities across Sheffield.
And this year, we’re excited to welcome special guest designer Chloe Wilkin, known for her bold, playful creativity and passion for helping others.
The design sessions will take place on Tuesday 9th September 2025, either in person at Hydra Creative’s studio on Chesterfield Road, Sheffield, or online, whichever works best for you. We kindly ask for a minimum donation of £50, with all proceeds going directly to support S6 Foodbank and Sheffield Children’s Hospital Charity.

What to expect from your session
Your design session will take place on Tuesday 9th September 2025, either at our Sheffield studio on Chesterfield Road or online, whatever works best for you.
Here's what you can expect:
- A 1-hour one-on-one session with a professional designer (either in person or online)
- A polished design outcome tailored to your brief
- Your final design assets delivered within 24 hours
- The chance to support two incredible charities doing essential work in our city
Why We’re Supporting S6 Foodbank
At Hydra, we believe no one should have to choose between eating and paying bills. That’s why this year, we’re proud to support S6 Foodbank a vital lifeline for people in our local community who are facing crisis.
S6 Foodbank provides three days’ worth of nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to individuals and families who have been referred due to hardship. They’re part of a nationwide network of foodbanks supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat hunger and poverty across the UK.
By taking part in Design for Donation Day, you’re helping make sure no one in Sheffield has to go hungry.

We’re also supporting the incredible team at Sheffield Children's Hospital Charity, who work every day to help children get better, faster, and with a little more comfort, colour, and care along the way.
Donations to the charity fund pioneering medical treatments, child-friendly facilities, and extras that help create a positive, welcoming experience for children and young people during their time at the hospital.
